MANGALORE – February 13, 2013 – GlowTouch Technologies, an award-winning IT services firm providing custom application development and technology integration services to businesses around the globe, is pleased to announce that its Application Development Division at Diya Systems has been appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3.
CMMI, which stands for Capability Maturity Model Integration, is a prominently recognized model for optimizing process efficiency at the organizational level. CMMI is a comprehensive methodology that enhances organizational functions, sets improvement goals and standardizes quality processes. Organizations appraised at Level 3 have processes that are performing at a “defined” level. They proactively manage their functions by defining projects at the start of the planning stage while monitoring and maintaining each step throughout the lifecycle of the project.
The CMMI Level 3 DEV V1.3 appraisal makes Diya Systems the first Mangalore based IT/ITES company to achieve this milestone. The appraisal was performed by SEI partner Cunix Infotech Mumbai and is valid for three years.
Appraising at a Maturity Level 3 is an affirmation that an organization’s software development practices have been standardized by defining and documenting the processes for all the projects at an organizational level. This achievement allows GlowTouch to better serve its customers by making its software development and delivery even more efficient, reliable, and cost effective while enhancing customer satisfaction.
