GlowTouch-Mentored Students Take Top Honors in International Business Competition
Inaugural Amazing Global Marketplace® Generates Spirited Community Involvement
LOUISVILLE – Apr. 11, 2012 – GlowTouch Technologies, an award-winning technology services firm providing custom application development services to businesses of all sizes, announced its successful involvement in an international business competition aimed at arming local high school students with global market experience.
Amazing Global Marketplace is an international cultural and business program designed to expose students to the complexities encountered in the world of international business. The program was the result of a collaborative effort between Greater Louisville International Professionals, Los Monitos Language Center, Asia Institute – Crane House, Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) and Bellarmine University.
The GlowTouch-sponsored team, comprised of students from Eastern High School, nabbed top honors at World Campus Day, the program’s culminating event, and was recognized for their diligent preparation, exceptional poise, and business savvy.
Paired with GlowTouch’s Director of Support Services, Paul Kuamoo, the students collected valuable insights into the world of international business through ongoing training and education from GlowTouch’s executive team. The students prepared for nearly six months by meeting with local business executives, researching cultural norms, and studying global supply chains.

Other high schools participating in the competition included Seneca and Atherton.
