Summary of the Position:
  • We are looking for an energetic Associate QA Engineer to work within the agile team. Associate QA engineer responsibilities includes understanding the requirements, design and develop manual test cases run them as part of Sprint acceptance criteria. Be able work on automation framework convert manual test cases to automation scripts that will be included in automation suite. Should be able to collaborate and contribute to quality of the product at all stages of development. Bring in innovation and best QA practices on board.
Qualification & Certifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Equivalent, (B. Tech) in CS,IT or ECE or equivalent
Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years experience in software testing (Automated) preferably in Financial / Leasing Applications /BFSI Domain
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • At least 2 to 5 yrs quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
  • Experience in Leasing application will be added advantageR
  • Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills
  • Experience with web-based application testing
  • Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions
  • Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
  • A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
  • Should have hands on experience on automation tools Selenium, Karate, SoapUI, Cucumber or Postman ( any one or two)
