Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. attains ISO 9001:2008 Certification
MANGALORE – July 19, 2013 – Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of GlowTouch Technologies, and a CMMI Level 3 certified IT/ITES Company, is pleased to announce that it has attained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification for providing IT and IT Enabled Services.
The ISO 9001:2008 Certification is globally recognized as the authority for establishing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System for businesses. This Certification helps Diya Systems to ensure that they meet the needs of the customers by regulating management processes.
The ISO International Standards, by which a company is evaluated, aids the company growth by giving access to new markets, level playing field for developing countries and facilitating free and fair global trade. ISO Standards are generic and applicable to all organizations regardless of type, size and product provided. The standards are based on eight management principles that an organization must master in order to earn the certification.
The assessment process began with Diya Systems embarking on an internal and external auditing process that determines eligibility. Once an auditor reviewed Diya’s sites, functions, products, services and processes, they provided a list of opportunities for development. Upon completion of the list, Diya’s management system resulted in enhanced productivity and even more efficient and effective operational standards.
The “Registration Audit” was performed by “GMSQR Certification Pvt. Ltd.” and Accredited by the “American International Accreditation Organization”. The ISO certification is not a onetime recognition and requires renewal every three years with constant adaptation to the higher quality standards. The certification for Diya Systems is effective from July 10, 2013 and lasts through July 10, 2016.
